University of Arkansas at Little Rock’s Middle East Studies Program and the Turkish Student Association will sponsor a screening of “Desperate Hours,” at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 25, in the Dickinson Hall Auditorium.
“Desperate Hours,” directed by Victoria Barrett, focuses on how Turkish diplomats were able to rescue Jews from the Holocaust during World War II. The film won Best Documentary at the 2003 D.C. Independent Film Festival.
Admission is free. Food and beverages will be served.
