Kenneth Branagh’s BELFAST Trailer. Irish Coming-of-age Drama Opens in Theaters in November

Check out the official trailer for Belfast, Kenneth Branagh’s Irish coming-of-age drama making its world premiere this weekend at the 2021 Telluride Film Festival. Belfast is described as “the humorous, tender and intensely personal story of one boy’s childhood during the tumult of the late 1960s.”

Starring Caitriona Balfe, Judi Dench, Jamie Dornan, Ciaran Hinds and Jude Hill, Belfast will open in theaters on November 12, 2021.

Written and directed by Academy Award® nominee Kenneth Branagh, Belfast is a poignant story of love, laughter and loss in one boy’s childhood, amid the music and social tumult of the late 1960s. Filmed in black and white, the film features music by Belfast native Van Morrison.

“Belfast is my most personal film. It’s about coming home – a dramatic journey of excitement, emotion and humor,” said Branagh.
