Jane Campion’s The Power of the Dog dominated the 15th annual Houston Film Critics Society awards winning Best Picture, along with Best Director, Best Actor for Benedict Cumberbatch, Best Supporting Actor for Kodi Smit-McPhee, Best Original Score and Best Screenplay.
Fran Kranz’s Mass also won multiple honors including Best Ensemble and Best Supporting Actress for Ann Dowd.
Other top honors including the Texas Independent Film Award went to Red Rocket, Best Foreign Language Feature went to Drive My Car and Best Documentary Feature went to Summer of Soul.
