The European Film Academy revealed the nominees of the main categories of the 35th European Film Awards. Films nominated for European Film include Alcarràs directed by Carla Simón, Close directed by Lukas Dhont, Corsage directed by Marie Kreutzer, Holy Spider directed by Ali Abbasi, and Triangle of Sadness directed by Ruben Östlund.

The award ceremony takes place on December 10, 2022 in Reykjavík and will celebrate the best of European Film culture.
