The German film Sensitive Content by Narges Kalhor walked away with the €20,000 Saxon Film Promotion Prize at the 36th Filmfest Dresden international short film festival in Dresden, Germany. The jury commented, “The winning film interweaves found footage, animation and sound in a skillful and precise way, taking the viewer to the scene of the action. Who is allowed to show themselves, who can act and who is denied the opportunity to look and participate? The film powerfully denounces patriarchal structures and shows the fearless struggle of women. In terms of the form and content, the jury was completely captivated from the very first second.”

Mast-Del from Maryam Tafakory won two prizes: the “fully political” – Short Film Award for Democratic Culture, as well as the Dresden Short Film Award of the Association of German Film Critics; along with a special mention from the Youth Jury in the International Competition.

Land of Mountains from Olga Kosanović was another double winner, taking both the Golden Horseman of the Youth prize, as well as the Golden Horseman of the Audience in the National Competition. Land of Mountains also received an honorable mention from the jury for the “fully political” – Short Film Award for Democratic Culture.
