A&E Network’s Emmy Award-winning ‘Biography’ is set to air the two-hour documentary special exploring the many lives and decade-spanning career of rock legend Ozzy Osbourne. Featuring exclusive interviews with Ozzy as he reflects on the many phases of his journey, “The Nine Lives of Ozzy Osbourne” will have its world premiere at SXSW in March and is set to air this summer on A&E.

The 2019 Jury and Special Award winners of the 26th SXSW Film Festival Awards were announced at the historic Paramount Theatre with the top awards going to Alice directed by Josephine Mackerras winning Best Narrative Feature Film and For Sama directed by Waad al-Kateab, Edward Watts winning Best Documentary Feature Film. Bleecker Street released the first trailer for dark comedy The Art of Self-Defense, from writer/director Riley Stearns, and starring Jesse Eisenberg, Alessandro Nivola and Imogen Poots. Jesse Eisenberg stars as timid bookkeeper Casey, who after he’s attacked on the street at night by a roving motorcycle gang, joins a neighborhood karate studio to learn how to protect himself. The Art of Self-Defense will World Premiere at the 2019 SXSW Film Festival on Sunday, March 10.

Emily Ting’s Go Back To China has released the first trailer clip on the eve of the film’s world premiere at the 2019 SXSW on Saturday, March 9. The film starring Anna Akana, Richard Ng, Lynn Chen, Kelly Hu, Kendy Cheung, Aviva Wang will premiere in the Narrative Competition program.

The River and The Wall follows five friends on a 1,200 mile journey along the US-Mexico border from El Paso to the Gulf of Mexico. Riding horses, bicycles, and paddling canoes, they travel along the Rio Grande and meet with landowners, border patrol agents, congressmen on both sides of the aisle, immigrants, wildlife biologists, and folks on either side of the Rio to better understand where a physical border wall would go and the impacts it would have.
