Truman I Am Not Your NegroMy Life as a Zucchini, and Incendio were awarded the top prizes at the 40th Portland International Film Festival.

Earning the audience accolades for Best Narrative Feature is Truman (Spain) directed by Cesc Gay. The Festival’s Opening Night selection I Am Not Your Negro (US/France/Belgium/Switzerland) directed by Raoul Peck took the Best Documentary Feature award.  My Life as a Zucchini (Switzerland/France) director Claude Barras takes home the audience award for Best First Feature and Best Animated Feature. This year’s Best Short Film Award goes to director Slater Dixon for his film Incendio (Portland). Dixon’s film is also the recipient of the Oregon Short Film Award.
