ISLE OF DOGS, A QUIET PLACE Among 20 Films to Complete in Visual Effects Category for 91st Academy Award

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences today announced the 20 films in the running in the Visual Effects category for the 91st Academy Awards.  

Later this month, the Academy will select a shortlist of 10 films that will advance to nominations voting. Nominations for the 91st Academy Awards will be announced on Tuesday, January 22, 2019.

The 91st Oscars will be held on Sunday, February 24, 2019, at the Dolby Theatre at Hollywood & Highland Center in Hollywood, and will be televised live on the ABC Television Network. The Oscars also will be televised live in more than 225 countries and territories worldwide.
