American Factory won the top awards at the 2020 Cinema Eye Honors for Nonfiction Filmmaking, taking the award for ‘Outstanding Achievement in Nonfiction Feature Filmmaking’ and ‘Outstanding Achievement in Direction’ for directors Steven Bognar and Julia Reichert.
Other award winners include The Souvenir directed by Joanna Hogg won the Heterodox Award; and the Audience Choice Prize went to The Biggest Little Farm.
