This year’s 33rd European Film Awards (EFAs) are presented for the first time as a series of virtual events. Presented as a series of virtual events, this year’s European Film Awards (EFAs) will take place every evening from December 8 to 12 with a livestream of “The EFAs at Eight”, celebrating the nominees and winners of the various categories of the 2020 European Film Awards.

“EFAs at Eight” saw the announcement this week of the winners in the categories European Cinematography, Editing, Production Design, Costume Design, Make-up & Hair, Original Score, Sound, and Visual Effects, EURIMAGES Co-Production Award, European Short Film and European University Film Award (EUFA).

Hidden Away, the story of Italian painter Antonio Ligabue, directed by Giorgio Diritti lead the winners with two awards – European Cinematography and European Costume Design. Other big winner include All Cats Are Grey In The Dark directed by Lasse Linder snagged the European Short Film award.
