Netflix released the official trailer for The Guilty, the thriller film starring Jake Gyllenhaal along with Ethan Hawke, Riley Keough, Christina Vidal Mitchell, Eli Goree, Da’vine Joy Randolph, David Castañeda with Paul Dano and Peter Sarsgaard.
After world premiering at the Toronto International Film Festival 2021, the film, directed by Antoine Fuqua, will open in select theaters on September 24 and on Netflix October 1.
The Guilty takes place over the course of a single morning in a 911 dispatch call center. Call operator Joe Baylor (Gyllenhaal) tries to save a caller in grave danger—but he soon discovers that nothing is as it seems, and facing the truth is the only way out.
