Reviews

Joel Harley in a Horror DNA review gave the film a score of 4/5, writing, “Featuring solid performances from Gold and Kunschik – whose chemistry carries the film through its quieter moments – and sharp writing, it’s a slick, effective version of the road trip-gone-wrong horror film.”

Ariel Powers-Schaub in a FilmHounds review also gave the film a 4/5, writing, “On the surface, Drive Back is an effective horror film about getting lost in the woods, and the evil that lurks there. Dig a little deeper, and it’s about relationships of all kinds – romantic, familial, and otherwise – and the secrets we keep from loved ones to keep the relationship functioning.”
