Kathryn Bigelow’s war drama Zero Dark Thirty, about the hunt for Osama bin Laden, was named Best Picture by the New York Film Critics Circle. The film also won the awards for Best Director (Bigelow) and Best Cinematographer (Greig Fraser). Ken Burns’ The Central Park Five won the award for Best Non-Fiction Film (Documentary), Amour won the award for Best Foreign Film, and David France How To Survive A Plague won the award for Best First Film.
