Vertical Entertainment released the official trailer for Adopting Audrey, the drama film based on a true story about “a woman’s longing to belong,” starring Jena Malone, Robert Hunger-Bühler, Brooke Bloom, Will Rogers, and Emily Kuroda.
The film (previously titled as Porcupine) premiered at the 2021 Woodstock Film Festival and went on to win numerous awards including Jury Award for Excellence in Storytelling and Jury Award for Best Performance – Jena Malone at SCAD Film Festival.
Directed by M. Cahill, Adopting Audrey opens in theaters on August 26th, 2022.
In the film, Audrey (Jena Malone) is a restless woman in a constant state of transition but yearns for more permanent roots. Ultimately putting herself up for adult adoption, she connects with a family and forms an unlikely bond with the misanthropic patriarch.
