ICYMI. Jodie Comer, Austin Butler, Tom Hardy, Michael Shannon, Mike Faist, Boyd Holbrook, and Norman Reedus star in the upcoming crime drama film The Bikeriders, as bikers in a midwestern motorcycle club, the Vandals. Over the course of a decade, the gang evolves from a gathering place for local outsiders into a more sinister gang, threatening the original group’s unique way of life.

The movie is inspired by the photo-book “The Bikeriders” by Danny Lyon. First published in 1968, “The Bikeriders” offers an immersive look into the Chicago Outlaws Motorcycle club, bringing together photographs and transcribed interviews by Obscura Gallery represented artist Danny Lyon. 

Release Date

Directed by Jeff Nichols, The Bikeriders world premiered at Telluride Film Festival and opens in theaters on June 21, 2024.

Synopsis

The Bikeriders captures a rebellious time in America when the culture and people were changing. After a chance encounter at a local bar, strong-willed Kathy (Jodie Comer) is inextricably drawn to Benny (Austin Butler), the newest member of Midwestern motorcycle club, the Vandals led by the enigmatic Johnny (Tom Hardy). Much like the country around it, the club begins to evolve, transforming from a gathering place for local outsiders into a dangerous underworld of violence, forcing Benny to choose between Kathy and his loyalty to the club.
