Tel Aviv on Fire, a refreshing comedy about the Israeli Palestinian reality, from New York based Israeli Director Sameh Zoabi, will open in theaters on August 2nd. The film will open on August 2nd at the Quad and Landmark 57 in New York and Laemmle Royal in LA.

Starring Kais Nashik, Lubna Azabal, Yaniv Biton, Nadim Sawalha, Maisa Abd Elhadi, Salim Daw, Yousef Sweid, Amer Hlehel, Ashraf Farah, Lattia Eido, Tel Aviv on Fire is a comedy that portrays the Palestinian and Israeli reality from a refreshingly light perspective.

Salam, an inexperienced young Palestinian man, becomes a writer on a popular soap opera after a chance meeting with an Israeli soldier. His creative career is on the rise – until the soldier and the show’s financial backers disagree about how the show should end, and Salam is caught in the middle.
