The 16th annual HollyShorts Film Festival will open with the premiere of Jackson Lewis Lee’s new short film THOMPSON FARM. Jackson Lewis Lee is the son of legendary filmmaker and Oscar-Winning writer/director Spike Lee. Thompson Farm will screen as part of the HollyShorts opening night lineup on Monday, November 9th.

Thompson Farm tells the story of a quiet young man, compelled by his lucid dreams, to stand up to the extreme discipline of his adoptive father, who runs an illegal moonshine business.

Directed by Jackson Lewis Lee, Thompson Farm was written by Jackson Lewis Lee and Julius Pryor. Produced by Jackson Lewis Lee, Julius Pryor and Marttise Hill of Pryor Hill Productions.

Thompson Farm joins the HollyShorts lineup of 2 opening night programs that includes the following short films:

418 short films have been selected for the Oscar®-qualifying HollyShorts with 128 international short films coming from 36 countries. 388 shorts will compete for top prizes at HollyShorts, one of the world’s top short film festivals. This year’s festival will take place primarily virtually from November 9-15, 2020.
