Revelation Perth International Film Festival announced the nominees of the inaugural WA Screen Culture Awards set to place on Sunday December 13 hosted by self-proclaimed ‘Australia’s 1st Attractive Comedian’, Elouise Eftos.

The event caps off the 23rd annual film festival and marks the first time in five years that the Western Australian screen industry has had an official awards platform.

“It’s been a pleasure and an honor for our judges and the Festival team to have had the opportunity to be part of the life of all the films entered, and to explore the depth and diversity of the local screen industry across all its forms,” says Revelation Film Festival director Richard Sowada.

The WA Screen Culture Awards embrace all screen forms from new, established and emerging screen practices across 18 categories acknowledging outstanding innovation, independent spirit and contributions in contemporary short, feature and documentary filmmaking, computer games, VR, AR, gallery-based moving image, installations, projections and other intersections with screen and moving image forms.
