Director Stephen Daldry gives us a look at how quarantine has uprooted our daily lives, especially with our partners in the new comedy film Together, starring James McAvoy and Sharon Horgan.

The film tells the story of a family, like so many, who found a way to survive – together. This hilarious and heartbreaking story intimately shows two partners forced to re-evaluate themselves and their relationship through the reality of lockdown.

Stephen Daldry brings to life the story of a family going through what we all went through over the last year, an experience that should resonate with moviegoers still shaking off the linger effects of COVID-era quarantine. It is directed very much like a play.

Stephen Daldry has previously directed Billy Elliot, Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close, The Hours and more. He has won three Olivier Awards for his work in the West End and two Tony Awards for his work on Broadway.
