Sony Pictures Classics released the official trailer for Compartment No. 6, the Finnish arctic road movie which has been short-listed for the Best International Feature Film Oscar, as well as nominated for an Independent Spirit Award and the Golden Globe in their International Feature categories.

The film starring Seidi Haarla, Yuriy Borisov, Dinara Drukarova, Julia Aug, Lidia Kostina, and Tomi Alatola won the Grand Prix at the 2021 Cannes Film Festival. Directed by Juho Kuosmanen, Compartment No. 6 will open in theaters on January 26, 2022.

In the film, a young Finnish woman escapes an enigmatic love affair in Moscow by boarding a train to the arctic port of Murmansk. Forced to share the long ride and a tiny sleeping car with a Russian miner, the unexpected encounter leads the occupants of compartment no. 6 to face the truth about their own yearning for human connection.
