CODA won the award for Outstanding Independent Motion Picture at the 53rd Annual NAACP Image Awards. Other top film awards went to Barbara Lee: Speaking Truth to Power for Outstanding Documentary (Film) and Encanto won for Outstanding Animated Motion Picture.
The awards were handed out over five non-televised virtual ceremonies held February 21st to 25th, leading up to the live telecast on Saturday February 26th.
