Directed by Sagar Ballary (“Bheja Fry”), Jungle Cry, the inspirational sports film is based on the inspiring true story of 12 orphan, tribal, underprivileged children from Kalinga Institute (KISS) in Odisha, India, and their triumphant journey to the International Junior Rugby Tournament held in the UK in 2007.
The film stars Abhay Deol (“Hero,” “Line of Descent”), Emily Shah (“Fortune Defies Death”), Atul Kumar (“Manto”), Stewart Wright (“Doc Martin,” “Doctor Who”), and Julian Lewis Jones (“Invictus,” “Justice League”).
Jungle Cry will have their official global theatrical release in the USA, Canada, UK, and UAE on May 20th, 2022. The film will also be available on VOD on June 16th, 2022.
