Tallgrass Film Association announced the winners of Take 36 film showcase and awarded the Grand Prize to TEAM #9 Downtown Wolves directed by Judah Hansen, a team made up of high school students from Independent School.
The second-place winner was TEAM #16 Case of the Mondays directed by Brayden Frazier; and third place was TEAM #11 Caravaggio directed by Brennan Barger.
The winner of the Audience Award, will be an Official Selection at the 20th Annual Tallgrass Film Festival, is TEAM #16 Case of the Mondays directed by Brayden Frazier.
“We had some returning teams and some brand new faces and all of the teams have made some amazing films in the 36 hours they were given,” Producer Hannah Bothner shared. “We believe this is the first time a high-school team won the grand prize and we are so excited for them.”

Best Screenplay goes to ROY NUGEN, TEAM 14, CHEKOV’S HAND GRENADE
Best Visual Effects goes to TEAM 13, EAT YOUR ART OUT DIRECTED BY JERED BECKER
Best Costume Design goes to RONNIE GLENN WILLIAMS, TEAM 7, GET RICH OR DIE LIT
Best Make-up Design goes to TEAM 1, POURING YOUR HEART OUT DIRECTED BY NAYTHAN SMITH AND VICTORIA GAYER
Best Production Design goes to TEAM 12, HEART SHAPED PANCAKES, DIRECTED BY CAITLYN CODY
Best Use of Required Elements goes to TEAM 3, STAGES, directed by TODD RAMSEY
Best Emerging Filmmaker Team goes to TEAM 8, ATIHCIW directed by JUDE ROGERS
The Student Filmmaker Award, which includes a prize of $500 and All-access Tallpasses to the 20th Annual Tallgrass Film Festival, goes to TEAM #9 Downtown Wolves directed by Judah Hansen.
The Female Filmmaker Award, which includes a prize of $500 and All-access Tallpasses to the 20th Annual Tallgrass Film Festival goes to TEAM #12 Heart-Shaped Pancakes directed by Caitlyn Cody.
