Bleecker Street debuted the official trailer for Breaking (originally titled 892), the thriller starring John Boyega, Michael Kenneth Williams, Nicole Beharie, Connie Britton, Olivia Washington, Selenis Leyva that premiered at the 2022 Sundance Film Festival where it won the Special Jury Award for Ensemble Cast in the U.S. Dramatic Competition.
The film is based on the real life story of the late Brian Brown-Easley, a former Marine Corps veteran.
Directed by Abi Damaris Corbin, Breaking opens in theaters on August 26, 2022.
