Mubi revealed the official trailer for Decision to Leave, the seductive romantic thriller starring Tang Wei (Lust, Caution) and Park Hae-il (The Host) selected as the South Korean entry for the Best International Feature Film at the 95th Academy Awards.
Directed by Park Chan-wook (Oldboy, The Handmaiden), Decision to Leave premiered at the 75th Cannes Film Festival, where Chan-wook won Best Director; and will open in theaters on October 14th.
Park Hae-il stars in the crime drama as police detective Hae-joon called in to investigate the mysterious death of a man who fell from a mountain peak. During his investigation, he begins to develop an interest in the man’s widow, Seo-rae played by Tang Wei, who is a suspect in the case.
