Catherine Deneuve, Benoît Magimel and director Emmanuelle Bercot reunite for Peaceful (De son vivant), a French drama described as a lyrical and moving portrait about the fragility of the human experience. Benoît Magimel won the Award for Best Actor at the 27th Lumières Awards and 47th César Awards for his performance in the film.

Peaceful premiered at the 2021 Cannes Film Festival and opens in theaters on October 28th, 2022 in New York The Quad Cinema, November 4th, 2022 at Los Angeles Laemmle Glendale.

Benoît Magimel is Benjamin, a passionate theatre teacher in his late thirties who just found out he has terminal cancer. Reluctantly leaning on the support of his loving mother Crystal (Catherine Deneuve) and his compassionate doctor (Gabriel Sara), he slowly learns to accept the inevitable journey of death.
