Sony Pictures Classics revealed the official trailer for Return to Seoul (Retour à Séoul), Cambodia’s official entry for the Best International Film category at the upcoming Academy Awards. The film stars newcomer Ji-Min Park as Freddie, a 25-year old French adoptee, who goes to South Korea to find her biological family. Oh Kwang-Rok, Guka Han and Kim Sun-Young also star.

Directed by Davy Chou, Return to Seoul premiered at the 2022 Cannes Film Festival in Un Certain Regard, and will be released in theaters on February 17, 2023 following a one-week awards qualifying run on December 2nd, 2022

After an impulsive travel decision to visit friends, Freddie (newcomer Park Ji-Min), 25, returns to South Korea for the first time, where she was born before being adopted and raised in France. Freddie suddenly finds herself embarking on an unexpected journey in a country she knows so little about, taking her life in new and unexpected directions.
