A24 revealed the official trailer for Beau Is Afraid, the surrealist horror film starring Academy Award Winner Joaquin Phoenix as a neurotic man who make a bizarre trip home to visit his mother.

Also starring in the film are Nathan Lane, Amy Ryan, Stephen McKinley Henderson, Hayley Squires, Denis Ménochet, Kylie Rogers, Armen Nahapetian, Zoe Lister-Jones, with Parker Posey, and Patti LuPone.

Directed by Ari Aster, Beau Is Afraid will be released in theaters on April 21, 2023.
