Saban Films revealed the official trailer for A Little White Lie, a film adaptation of Chris Belden’s 2013 novel Shriver, starring Michael Shannon, Kate Hudson, Don Johnson, Kate Linder, Wendie Malick, Aja Naomi King and Da’Vine Joy Randolph.
Directed by Michael Maren, A Little White Lie opens in theaters and on digital plus on demand on March 3, 2023.
The film follows the story of Shriver, a struggling handyman played by Michael Shannon, who is mistakenly believed to be a famous reclusive writer. Shriver takes advantage of the opportunity and attends a college literary festival where he is welcomed by adoring fans and falls for an English professor played by Kate Hudson.
