Giant Pictures revealed the official trailer for The Ants & The Grasshopper, the documentary follows farmer Anita Chitaya as she travels from Malawi to California to the White House, to persuade Americans that climate change is real.
Directed by Raj Patel and Zak Piper, The Ants & The Grasshopper begins Alamo Drafthouse Cinemas theatrical tour on March 31st. Filmmakers Raj Patel, Zak Piper, and Alamo Drafthouse Founder Tim League will tour the film with special guests in select Alamo Drafthouse Cinemas across the country:
Anita Chitaya is a farmer in Malawi who has brought progress to her village by transforming the way they think and work together. But when the effects of climate change show indisputable signs of irreversible damage to her land and community, Anita travels to America to meet with farmers, activists, climate skeptics, and legislators to persuade them to save her home by first saving the planet.
