Actor Joe Lo Truglio, star of Brooklyn Nine-Nine, directs the horror film Outpost starring Beth Dover (“Orange is the New Black”) as a woman recovering from a violent assault who takes a job as a fire lookout, but is overwhelmed by her isolation and tragic past.

Also starring in the film are Ato Essandoh (“Chicago MED”), Dylan Baker (‘Spider-Man’ trilogy), Becky Ann Baker (“Freaks and Geeks”), Dallas Roberts (Glass Onion), Ta’Rea Campbell, Tim Neff, D.R. Anderson.

Written and directed by Joe Lo Truglio, Outpost will be released in theaters and on demand on May 19th, 2023.

After a violent assault, a woman asks her best friend for help escaping an abusive ex. She’s given a job as a fire lookout in the mountains of northern Idaho, hoping the peaceful solitude will heal her trauma. But the PTSD and isolation have other plans, and it’s suddenly a fight to save herself and the town.
