Blue Fox Entertainment debuted the official trailer for The Inventor, a stop-motion animation adventure film featuring the voices of Stephen Fry, Daisy Ridley, Marion Cotillard, Gauthier Battoue, Matt Berry, that follows the life of inventor Leonardo da Vinci.
Release Date
Co-directed by Jim Capobianco and Pierre-Luc Granjon, The Inventor world premiered at the 2023 Annecy International Animation Film Festival, and opens in theaters nationwide with a release date of August 25, 2023.
Synopsis
The insatiably curious and headstrong inventor/artist Leonardo da Vinci (Fry) leaves Italy to join the French court where he can freely experiment, invent flying contraptions and incredible machines, and study the human body. Joined in his adventure by the audacious Princess Marguerite (Ridley), Leonardo attempts to uncover the answer to the ultimate question: “What is the meaning of life?”
