Chicago Film Critics Association (CFCA) awarded Killers of the Flower Moon directed by Martin Scorsese the top honor of Best Picture of the year along with Best Adapted Screenplay (Eric Roth & Martin Scorsese) and Best Original Score (Robbie Robertson).

Also receiving three honors was Oppenheimer including Best Director (Christopher Nolan), Best Cinematography (Hoyte Van Hoytema) and Best Editing (Jennifer Lame); and May December for Best Original Screenplay (Samy Burch) and a double win for Charles Melton (Best Supporting Actor and Most Promising Performer).

Top acting honors went to The Holdovers for Paul Giamatti for Best Actor and Da’Vine Joy Randolph named Best Supporting Actress; Emma Stone received Best Actress for Poor Things and Best Supporting Actor for Charles Melton for May December.

Other highlights among the winners this year include Best Documentary for Kokomo City, The Zone of Interest received Best Foreign Language Film, The Boy and The Heron was named Best Animated Feature; and Celine Song named recipient of the Milos Stehlik Breakthrough Filmmaker Award (Past Lives).
