HBO revealed the first look official teaser for the documentary series The Jinx – Part Two, a new six-episode continuation of the Emmy®-winning documentary series on New York real estate heir and convicted murderer Robert Durst. Durst died of cardiac arrest on January 10, 2022, at age 78.

Release Date

Directed by Andrew Jarecki, The Jinx – Part Two will be released on Sunday, April 21 at 10:00 pm ET/PT on HBO. New episodes will debut weekly on HBO and will be available to stream on Max.

Synopsis

The Jinx – Part Two is a new six-episode continuation of the groundbreaking Emmy winning documentary series “The Jinx: The Life and Deaths of Robert Durst,” from Andrew Jarecki, which debuted on HBO in 2015.

In Part Two, the filmmakers continue their investigation for the next eight years, uncovering hidden material, Durst’s prison calls, and interviews with witnesses who had not come forward until now.

Part One investigated the unsolved 1982 disappearance of Durst’s wife, Kathie, the 2000 execution-style killing of writer Susan Berman, and the 2001 death and dismemberment of Durst’s neighbor, Morris Black, in Galveston, Texas.
