Focus Features shared the official trailer for Nosferatu, the supernatural gothic horror film starring Bill Skarsgård as vampire Count Orlok obsessed with a woman played by Lily-Rose Depp.

Also starring in the movie are Nicholas Hoult, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Emma Corrin, Ralph Ineson, Simon McBurney, and Willem Dafoe.

The film is a remake of the 1922 silent film directed by F. W. Murnau.

Release Date

Written and directed by Robert Eggers, Nosferatu opens in theaters on Christmas Day, Wednesday, December 25, 2024.

Synopsis

Robert Eggers’ Nosferatu is a gothic tale of obsession between a haunted young woman and the terrifying vampire infatuated with her, causing untold horror in its wake.

Focus Features chairman Peter Kujawski said, “As you’ll see, this definitely ain’t your father’s Nosferatu and [Eggers will] surely bring new meaning to the term ‘Christmas feast’ on Dec. 25.”
