The documentary film Your Tomorrow, written, produced and directed by Ali Weinstein, which will have its world premiere at the upcoming 2024 Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF), has been acquired by Blue Ice Docs for release in Canada.

Your Tomorrow is a poignant observational documentary that explores the transformation of Toronto’s iconic Ontario Place, a beloved modernist waterfront park, as it faces a controversial redevelopment. The film offers an intimate portrait of the park’s final year, capturing the stories of its diverse cast of characters, from security guards to retirees, swimmers to bird-watchers, painters to gardeners and environmentalists.

Following its world premiere at TIFF, Blue Ice Docs is planning a robust Canadian theatrical release for the feature doc, bringing this impactful story to audiences nationwide.

Produced by Geoff Morrison/Big Cedar Films, Your Tomorrow is a TVO Original, presented in association with the Canada Media Fund, Telefilm Canada, and the Canada Council for the Arts. The film will have a broadcast and streaming release on TVO in early 2025.
