AMC Networks revealed the trailer and release date for The Tailor of Sin City, a new four-part documentary series telling the story of AJ Pratt, a tailor in 1970s Las Vegas who built a drug and fashion empire caught between his loyalties to the Mob, the Colombian cartel, the FBI, and his 7 wives.
‘The Tailor of Sin City’ is based on a book co-authored by Sal Manna and AJ Pratt himself titled ‘The Tailor: How I Dressed Elvis, Escobar, the Mob…and Became the Las Vegas King of Cocaine.’

Directed by David Jung, ‘The Tailor of Sin City’ premieres exclusively on SundanceTV on Thursday, September 12, 2024 at 10pm ET/PT and will be available to stream on AMC+ and Sundance Now on the same day.
Synopsis
The Tailor of Sin City is the stranger-than-fiction story of a gifted small-town tailor, AJ Pratt, who built a fabulously successful drug and fashion empire in the heart of Sin City with the secret backing of the mob, and the unexpected friendship of Pablo Escobar, until it all came crashing down. The four-part series is a star-studded, sequin-filled, stranger-than-fiction story of how a gifted smalltown tailor, AJ Pratt, built a drug and fashion empire in the heart of Sin City. Set in the glitzy nightlife of Las Vegas in the 1970s, the series follows AJ as he catapulted himself into the role of the Cocaine King of Las Vegas with help from both the Mob and the infamous Pablo Escobar, until it all came crashing down.
