Celebrated South Korean Best Picture Oscar-winning director of ‘Parasite,’ Bong Joon-ho makes his long-awaited return with the sci fi film Mickey 17. Based on the 2022 Edward Ashton sci-fi novel ‘Mickey 17,’ the film follows a ‘disposable’ space expedition employee who’s tasked with a dangerous life-threatening mission, getting cloned every time he dies.
The film features a star-studded cast of Robert Pattinson, Naomie Ackie, Steven Yeun, Toni Collette, and Mark Ruffalo.
Release Date
Directed by Bong Joon-ho, ‘Mickey 17’ opens in South Korean theaters on January 28, 2025 before releasing in US theaters on January 31, 2025.
Synopsis
