Wrapping up on October 20th, the 25th edition of the Woodstock Film Festival announced the winners for this year’s jury award. My Dead Friend Zoe, directed by Kyle Hausmann Stokes won the Gigantic Pictures Award For Best Feature Narrative, along with the Haskell Wexler Award For Best Cinematography, and an Honorable Mention for the Best Narrative Editing Award.
Porcelain War, directed by Brendan Bellomo and Slava Leontyev won The Leon Gast Award For Best Feature Documentary and the Best Documentary Editing Award.
Brooklyn, Minnesota directed by Jessica Blank and Erik Jensen which made it’s World Premiere at the festival also won multiple honors including NYWIFT Excellence in Narrative Filmmaking Award and Gray Schwartz Ultra Indie Award.
The festival also honored acclaimed filmmaker Paul Schrader with the Honorary Maverick Award. Renowned producer Ira Deutchman received the Honorary Trailblazer Award; and filmmakers and human rights activists Pamela Yates and Paco de Onís received the inaugural Art of Activism Award.

Best Short Animation Award: The Wild-Tempered Clavier by Anna Samo.
