AARP The Magazine unveiled the official nominees for their annual Movies For Grownups (MFG) Awards, lead by Conclave with 6 nominations including Best Picture/Best Movie for Grownups, Best Director for Edward Berger, Best Actor for Ralph Fiennes, Best Supporting Actress for Isabella Rossellini, Best Supporting Actor for Stanley Tucci, and Best Screenwriter for Peter Straughan.
A Complete Unknown followed with 5 nominations including Best Picture/Best Movie for Grownups, Best Director for James Mangold, Best Screenwriter for Jay Cocks and James Mangold, Best Ensemble for A Complete Unknown, and Best Time Capsule.
Other titles nominated for Best Picture/Best Movie for Grownups are Emilia Pérez, Gladiator II and September 5.
The annual MFG Awards ceremony will take place on Saturday, January 11, 2025, at the Beverly Wilshire, a Four Seasons Hotel, in Beverly Hills, California hosted by Alan Cumming, the Tony- and Emmy Award-winning host of the widely lauded competition show The Traitors, which will be broadcast by Great Performances on Sunday, February 23, 2025 at 7 p.m. ET/6 p.m. CT on PBS.
