The New York Film Critics Circle voted Brady Corbet’s The Brutalist as Best Film of 2024, along with Best Actor honors for Adrien Brody for his performance in the film as visionary architect László Toth who emigrates to America to rebuild his life, his career, and his marriage.

Nickel Boys also won multiple honors including Best Director for RaMell Ross and Best Cinematography for Jomo Fray.

Other top film honors went to All We Imagine as Light for Best International Film, No Other Land won for Best Non-Fiction Film; and Flow won for Best Animated Film.
