Anora was named best picture of the year by the Michigan Movie Critics Guild, and Mikey Madison won the best actress award along with the award for breakthrough performance. The film also received the best screenplay award.
The Brutalist won multiple awards including for best director for Brady Corbet’s direction as well as best actor for Adrien Brody and best supporting actor for Guy Pearce. Super/Man: The Christopher Reeve Story was named best director, and the Conclave was recognized for its ensemble.
