‘Sing Sing’ and ‘Nickel Boys’ Win Top Awards at 2024 Black Film Critics Circle

Sing Sing was the big winner at the 2024 Black Film Critics Circle (BFCC) awards, receiving four prizes including Best Film of 2024, Best Actor for Colman Domingo, Supporting Actor for Clarence Maclin and Best Ensemble.

Nickel Boys won three awards, including Best Director for RaMell Ross.

The Piano Lesson‘s Danielle Deadwyler was named Best Supporting Actress, and Original Screenplay went to The Brutalists.

Daughters won for Best Documentary prize, All We Imagine As Light was named Best Foreign Film, with a Special Mention to Space Race.
