German Heist Comedy ‘Two To One’ Starring Sandra Hüller Opens in UK Cinemas in May | Trailer
Following its UK Premiere at Glasgow Film Festival, Natja Brunckhorst’s Two To One (Zwei Zu Eins) will be released in UK cinemas from 2nd May.
The ensemble comedy set in the long, hot East German summer of 1990 stars Sandra Hüller (Anatomy of a Fall, The Zone of Interest, Toni Erdmann), Max Riemelt (Berlin Syndrome, Sense8,) and Ronald Zehrfeld (Phoenix, Barbara).
Maren (Sandra Hüller), Robert (Max Riemelt) and Volker (Ronald Zehrfeld) have known and loved each other since childhood. In the final weeks before reunification and with Germany about to change forever, the trio stumble across a fortune in soon-to-be-worthless East German currency, left to rot in Government storage.
With just days to work out what to do with this unexpected windfall before it becomes useless, the three assemble the friends and neighbors living in their crumbling apartment block and together hatch an elaborate plan to exchange the cash for goods – outwitting the incoming Westerners and their capitalism before time runs out.
But can a community previously living under strict socialist values handle this sudden wealth…?

Mikhail Baryshnikov, Rossy De Palma, Dua Lipa, John Turturro, and John Waters to Honor Pedro Almodóvar, Recipient of FLC 50th Chaplin Award
Film at Lincoln Center (FLC) has announced the speakers to pay tribute to Pedro Almodóvar at the 50th Chaplin Award Gala on April 28 at Lincoln Center’s Alice Tully Hall.
The Gala evening will feature performer and artistic director Mikhail Baryshnikov; actress and longtime Almodóvar muse Rossy de Palma; global pop powerhouse Dua Lipa; Emmy Award–winning actor, director, and writer John Turturro (The Room Next Door); and acclaimed filmmaker, writer, and artist John Waters.
The Chaplin Award Tribute will feature excerpts from a selection of the beloved Spanish director’s work; appearances by actors, friends, and colleagues; and the presentation of the award itself.

International Film Festival Rotterdam have announce the dates for the upcoming 55th edition (IFFR 2026) which will take place from Thursday 29 January to Sunday 8 February 2026.
2026 Palm Springs International Film Festival + Film Awards Announce Dates
The Palm Springs International Film Society announced the the 37th annual Palm Springs International Film Festival will return Friday, January 2, 2026 through Monday, January 12, 2026. The Film Awards will take place on January 2 at the Palm Springs Convention Center, with film screenings beginning Saturday, January 3 including the Opening Night presentation that evening and will conclude with Best of Fest and special programming on January 12 and 13. Palm Springs ShortFest is still scheduled to take place from June 24-30, 2025.
The Interrogation of Anna Goode Releases on Digital on April 8th | Trailer
Directed by DC Hamilton, the indie thriller film The Interrogation of Anna Goode starring Max Adler, Neil Hopkins, and Brinna Kelly will be released on digital and on demand on April 8th.
The film’s synopsis reads,, “While questioning a murder suspect, FBI Agent John Savage inexplicably finds himself on the opposite side of the table. Now framed for the crime, he must go to extreme lengths to reveal the shocking truth.”
