
Briarcliff Entertainment has acquired Stitch Head, the animated feature adventure film by Steve Hudson, with a wide theatrical release slated for October 29, 2025.
The film which world premiered at Annecy International Animation Film Festival in June, is based on the first story in the beloved children’s book series by Guy Bass and brings to life a quirky, heartwarming tale full of monster mayhem, unexpected friendships, and cinematic thrills.
Directed by and adapted for the screen by Steve Hudson, Stitch Head follows the story of a small, forgotten creature living in a long-abandoned castle. Awoken by a Mad Professor, Stitch Head is tasked with protecting the professor’s other wildly inventive creations from the suspicious townspeople of Grubbers Nubbin.
The voice cast includes Asa Butterfield, Joel Fry, Alison Steadman, Rob Brydon, Fern Brady, Tia Bannon, and Jamali Maddix.
