
Jennifer Lawrence, currently seen in Lynne Ramsay latest film, Die My Love, will be honored with a Donostia Award at the upcoming 73rd San Sebastián Festival.
Lawrence also produced the film which had its world premiere at the Cannes Film Festival.
Set in rural America, Die My Love also starring Robert Pattinson, Lakeith Stanfield, Sissy Spacek, and Nick Nolte, is a portrait of a woman engulfed by love and madness. Grace, a writer and young mother, is slowly slipping into madness. Locked away in an old house in and around Montana, we see her acting increasingly agitated and erratic, leaving her companion, Jackson, increasingly worried and helpless.
Academy Award–winning actress, producer Jennifer Lawrence has starred in acclaimed films such as Silver Linings Playbook, which earned her the Academy Award for Best Actress in 2012, American Hustle, Don’t Look Up, Joy, and The Hunger Games trilogy. Together with Justine Ciarrocchi, Lawrence has produced a dynamic slate of projects, including Causeway, No Hard Feelings (2023), and the documentaries Zurawski v. Texas and Bread & Roses, winner of a prestigious Peabody Award.
