Nuremberg, James Vanderbilt’s gripping historical drama set in post-war Germany, chronicles the true story of the trials held by the Allies against the defeated Nazi regime.
It is based on the book The Nazi and the Psychiatrist by Jack El-Hai.
Starring in the movie are Russell Crowe, Rami Malek, Leo Woodall, John Slattery, Mark O’Brien, Colin Hanks, Wrenn Schmidt, Lydia Peckham, with Richard E. Grant, and Michael Shannon
Nuremberg premiered at the 2025 Toronto International Film Festival is slated for theatrical release in the U.S. on November 7, 2025.

The film follows psychiatrist Douglas Kelley (Malek), appointed by the U.S. Army to assess whether leading Nazi war criminals are fit to stand trial. He enters a psychological and rhetorical fight with Hermann Göring (Crowe), Hitler’s former number two, as the trials begin in postwar Germany.
