Here is the first look – teaser trailer for Good Luck, Have Fun, Don’t Die, the science fiction film starring Sam Rockwell as a mysterious “man from the future,” joined by an ensemble cast including Haley Lu Richardson, Michael Peña, Zazie Beetz and Juno Temple.
Together they embark on a one-night, six-block quest to save the world from a rogue artificial intelligence, after this future traveler takes over an L.A. diner and recruits disgruntled patrons for the mission.
Directed by Gore Verbinski, returning to feature-film directing after a long hiatus, Good Luck, Have Fun, Don’t Die made its world premiere at the 2025 Fantastic Fest in Austin and also screened at the Beyond Fest. The film is slated to open in U.S. cinemas on February 13, 2026, via distributor Briarcliff Entertainment.

In a recent interview, director Gore Verbinski reflected on his return saying, “This is a hard time for original content. It feels like the big studios just want sequels and the streamers are shackled by their algorithms.”
