‘One Battle After Another’, ‘The Secret Agent’ Top New York Film Critics Circle Award Winners

Paul Thomas Anderson’s One Battle After Another was voted Best Film of 2025 by the New York Film Critics Circle along with Best Supporting Actor for Benicio del Toro.

The Secret Agent by Kleber Mendonça Filho won Best International Film, and Best Actor for Wagner Moura.

Best Non-Fiction Film went to My Undesirable Friends: Part I – Last Air in Moscow, the Russian-language American documentary film by Julia Loktev.

Other awards including Best Director went Jafar Panahi for It Was Just an Accident, Best Actress went to Rose Byrne for If I Had Legs I’d Kick You, and Best First Film went to Carson Lund’s Eephus.
