
Ryan Coogler’s Sinners won eight awards at the African American Film Critics Association annual awards, including the top honor of Best Film of 2025.
The film also won Best Director for Coogler, Best Actor for Michael B. Jordan, Supporting Actress for Wunmi Mosaku, Emerging Face (Actor) for Miles Caton and Best Ensemble.
Other top awards went to The Perfect Neighbor for Best Documentary, and Hedda won Best Independent Feature along with Best Actress for Tessa Thompson
Winners of the 2025 African American Film Critics Association annual awards will be honored at the awards ceremony on February 8, 2026.
